Visitor Management

UMA VISIT – VISITOR MANAGEMENT

Early beta December 2021 / launching january 2022

  • Manage visitor access into your building in a safe and secure manner.

  • Screen visitors to ensure they’re compliant with your company or health and safety policies.

  • Enable badge printing and allow for capturing a photo of your visitors on arrival.

  • Set up email notifications for visitors and hosts. Automate notifications to hosts when visitors arrive on site.

  • Book a meeting room, desk or parking space when creating a visit.

  • Export a list of visitors within a certain time period or download an emergency list of any ‘checked in’ visitors in your building.

  • Allow a touch or touchless sign in for visitors using a kiosk or straight from a mobile device.

  • Group visits are included to speed up inviting large groups of people.

Cisco Webex Navigator

UMA are Webex Room Device Solution Partners and have been working closely with the Cisco Webex Team to make UMA available on the new Navigator booking panel.

True occupancy and environmental data is taken from Cisco Webex devices and/or IoT sensors and displayed on the UMA Book application.

Manage Webex Navigator panels within UMA Vision to check the device status, software version and other important data points.

Customise UMA on the Webex Navigator by uploading a company logo or choose your own colour palette.

In December, UMA will update its Web and Android Tablet to allow customers to select their own custom logo and primary and secondary colour palettes from our colour-picker.

This will allow customers to reflect their own corporate branding and UMA partners to white label their managed solutions.

  • We’re updating our Floor Map page to be renamed ‘Workspace’. This page will be the central hub for all workspace booking and management

  • The ‘Workspace’ will be split into a map view and list view for monitoring and booking resources.

  • We are adding the ability to book parking spaces from the web and mobile app.

  • You can now create and book custom resources such as lockers, pool cars and any other shared company entities.

One of the popular feature requests we received in the summer was the ability to add your own personal video calling details to a meeting invite.

With this feature we’ll support Cisco Webex, Zoom and Microsoft Teams personal meeting links. This will allow you to create video meetings from within UMA simply by tapping on the icon of your chosen video vendor when creating a booking.

Our approach in the design of new features is to make the end user journey as simple as possible.

JABRA x UMA Partnership

Jabra and UMA have partnered to deliver innovative video conferencing and meeting room solutions, enabling Jabra devices to be managed seamlessly from one place on the UMA dashboard with real-time analytics.  With Jabra PanaCast intelligent video conferencing cameras, users can manage meeting room occupancy levels and control room occupancy levels from a desktop, smartphone or meeting room display panel to optimise the use of office space.
